1979 ~ 2012
On Friday, March 2, we lost our Bubby. Bradford Bruce Garrison left us, but we know he is happy and at peace in the arms of his wife, Heather. Brad loved all things artistic, so fearlessly dedicated his life to theater. He was a talented director and actor who gave his all to the art. He made us laugh when he played batty old men, and shudder when we saw him play the darker characters. He was recognized numerous times for his theatrical achievements.
Bubby possessed a rare talent for making others see the best in themselves. He had a depth that he shared on stage and off. All who knew him felt challenged to make our relationships a priority, to spend time together, to laugh and sing together, to ask each other questions, to be interested in each other, and to make what is important the most important thing.
Bradford’s two children T T Jo and Tay Tay were the center of his existence. He put his career on the slow track so they could have a happy childhood. He loved them without measure. He will be sorely missed for his enormous personality, unmistakable laugh, and heart.
Bradford is survived by his two beautiful children, Talitha Jo (10) and Tayland Reed Bradford Garrison (6); parents, Bruce and Patsy Garrison; sister, Honey (Terrance) Johnson; brother Rainey (Christine) Garrison; sister, Dixie (Rick) Crowther; sister, Talitha (Tom) Hanks; grandpa, Harlan Dan Garrison; and other extended family and friends.
An account has been set up for the children at Wells Fargo Bank in the name of: The Bradford Garrison Memorial Account.
His memorial service will be held at Copper Hills High School, 5445 New Bingham Highway, West Jordan, Utah on Saturday, March 10th, 2012 at 1pm.
