Summer Camps

Summer CampIf you are a parent, you want to find a performing arts camp that is best suited to your child. If you are a youth, you want to attend a summer camp that fits your interests. We’ve taken the time to research performing arts camps across Utah. Because information typically becomes available each Spring for summer camps, this information may become dated during the Fall and Winter months. However, we will update the page as we are made aware of new information.

The Children’s Theatre
Camps are a fun and challenging way spend part of your summer with us. We offer 1 and 2 week camps that run Monday – Friday. Camps are offered to students as young as 4 to 18 years old.

Egyptian Theater Park City
The Egyptian Theatre YouTheatre program is based on the premise that participating in an arts program is an important aspect in the growth of every child. From the teamwork of being part of a cast, the discipline required putting on a production, and the confidence gained performing before a live audience, our young actors are instilled with an appreciation for the performing arts that will carry them into adulthood.

Hale Centre Theatre West Valley
Hale Centre Theatre offers three sessions of summer camps each summer for students ages 6-18. Two-week session are offered in June, July and August. Each camp runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. A half-day option is available from 9:00 a.m. to Noon or 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Classes include Acting, Singing, Theatre Dance, Voice, Theatre Art, Stage Combat, Magic and Audition Techniques. Additionally, students can participate in a Production Class where they rehearse a “mini-musical” which is performed at the end of the session. They are also invited to take part in a camp Talent Show.

University of Utah Youth Theatre
The Theatre School for Youth is a challenging and inspiring summer performing arts training program for young people ages 5-18.  Comprised of the Preteen (ages 8-12), Teen (ages 13-18), and Dramatic Discoveries sessions (ages 5-7), this nationally recognized program attracts nearly 350 students each summer from the Wasatch Front and across the nation.
